In my latest game, I was rather concerned with my colonists constantly discussing murder, cultist activities, and assorted strangeness. So, I began inspecting their thoughts through the Queen-given powers of Bureaucracy, as is my Duty. But then I realized, I was unable to determine who was behind these nefarious conversations, and who was merely a victim of these attempts at corrupting and subverting the citizens of the Empire. If only I had a way of knowing when and where these conversations would take place, so I could narrow down my suspects... And that, is when I discovered the TRUE purpose of the Table and Chair. By giving the colonists a more comfortable place to converse, I had confined most of these cult meetings to one area! I was able to observe the conversations, to see who seemed to prefer hanging around the tables instead of working, and one of them turned out to be a particularly disturbed individual who's entire memory was filled with cultist activity and discussions of murder! And indeed, once he was disposed of, cultist activity among my colonists was reduced, with conversations about the Monarchy and the daily grind becoming more frequent. It seems that proper regulation of discussion is an effective way of combating cult activity, although this may change in future updates. (What if the cult begins creating their own secret Table & Chair dens?!)
