devil fruit mod

    I am doing an one piece style mod, and finished the gomu (rubber) fruit.
    Skills;
    Rubber body - resistant to crushing and voltaic, weak to hyperborean, scales with levels
    Rubber piston - ranged unarmed attack
    Rubber slingshot - ranged melee attack and switches you with the target
    Rubber baloon - buff, high crushing and explosive resistance, rebounds missile spells
    Whip kick - 2x3 square AoE kick with knockback
    Gear second - buff to agility and burliness, lowers hp, consumes food on activation
    Gatling punch - normal attack, next attack hits 1-5 times, last has knockback
    Gear third -highly buffs you for 15 rounds, and after that debufs for the same duration

    there might be some bugs left, but mostly finished.
    If you find a bug post here and i'll fix it.

    cyborg shipwright

    Grapple punch - you guesed it, it pulls an opponent
    cola boost - buffs you by the power of cola: buff, costs 1 booze
    Flaming tiger - puts a tiger rug over your head and set it on fire: damages you but fears and flame damage for 5 turns
    air canon - cone shot with knockback for 10 mp
    strong right - melee buff for 5 attacks
    agumented sight - pasive: 1 sight, 3 trap sight, 5 EDR, 10 critical
    Coup de laser - you've guessed: LAZER (blinds and breaks walls)

    PS: secret next one I'm making is the ope ope fruit and then bara bara fruit
    PPS: ope ope is done, exept can't figure out how to make room continuously apply a buff

    Well the last 3 are Haki, not fruit powers. Other Gomu powers could be:

    Balloon: buff, -:nimbleness: +:reflection:
    Gatling: for several turns you have a high chance of Threshing (multiple attacks)
    Whip: aoe knockback

    Also the level 0 "immune to Thors" is flavorful, but you fight Dredmor more often than you fight Enel, so I'd suggest spreading it through the tree (+2 per level or +1/+3/+6 etc ).

    My next plan

    Cyborg
    -augmented sight - sight +1, trap sight +2
    -cyborg shipwright - traps +3, tinker +1, armor +3
    -air canon - 1turn delay, asxyphilative, knock, cone
    -chain graple - suck, crushing
    -cola boost - buff burl + cadish, consume drink/cola


    And maybe:
    Linguist
    -NI! - ? Dmg
    -punslinger - ranger piercing dmg
    -incantation - righteous/necromantic dmg
    -philosophy manuscript - mine: existential dmg
    -motormouth - AoE sleep
    please add ideas for this one

    Gear second should last forever and be removable, but every some number of turns, should give you a debuff to stuff. Luffy runs on food, so perhaps a passive negative health regen on each skill, and lots of armor absorption. I forget what he calls it, but the new galvanized rubber attacks are pretty awesome. You could incorporate that as a high level buff that causes skills to do more damage or something.

    Sure. I was just thinking flavorwise he can pretty much keep it up forever, until he passes out.

    Pretty cool ideas, very interesting if dueled with the new Swashbucking mod of Ruigi and Bergstrom for a more complete pirate flavour.
