Okay i am a little confused about this one as the wording is really aweful! It is better to have it higher than lower right? As a glass sword i picked up has -5 on it, meaning it's crap right?

To be honest, I am not sure if anyone has figured out how accuracy works, or if you even needed them at all.

I have no problem hitting things with no accuracy boost for the entire game. So with nothing particularly scientific, I did say it's not worth worrying about.

That said, critical is probably what you want to boost if you want to increase hit rate.

I'm guessing it's simply subtracted from the enemy's dodge chance before their dodge calculation is carried out. A Lil Batty has 19 dodge (4 rogue + 15 bonus dodge) which means you need at least 19 enemy dodge reduction to be guaranteed to hit it.

What the game really needs is an 'enemy crit/counter reduction'.

Speaking of stats, what does magic resistance do? I think I saw a thread about it awhile back.

I think it's like block, just against magic. It seems to reduce the amount of damage taken on a successful resist.

Dodge reduction bonuses seem to make a bigger difference with non-melee types, in my experience. All of my melee build have sufficient dodge reduction without having bonuses. The mage I'm running through with now has a significantly higher chance to miss. Lil Battys dodge my hits almost 50% of the time.

Speaking of counter. I love it when you get into a counter chain with a mob. It's amusing to win a battle off of a counter counter.

The higher it is, the more you hit.

    Thats how it works
