Okay I'll be honest I don't know if this is a bug or not. However I think it may be. I'm running a Windows 8 operating system. So I remember, and looked up some screenshots on steam, and it looks like people who have the Conquest of the Wizardlands DLC doesn't have the text above enemies saying how much they hate us. I don't know if you all removed it but I know there's screenshots with them having words above their head (no UI is visible though so I can't speak to what DLC they have) If it's a bug or such I'd love to learn how to fix it and thank you for your time
As far as I know they still do this although they do not do it constantly. The list of possible insults is part of text.xml in steam/steamapps/dungeons of dredmor/game As for your operating system issue, you can find instructions for correcting it at www.ubuntu.com
Hm....the problem is I'm not having this happen at all. With/without a mod to add more. So I have no idea why it's non-existent. Also I'm not having an operating system issue xD it's just something I thought would be helpful to know.
So, now feeling rather foolish I've seen enemies speak. I'm pretty sure they hadn't for awhile before though I could've been unlucky since it seems to be really rare now. Anyhow sorry about that >.<
