Like I said, just make it a removable buff that allows the TD proc to occur. That way those of us who like chaos can have it, and everyone else will only turn it on when they need it.

Wont change the fact that if you re teleported on an island or inside walls like the case above, you have no way to teleport back unless the way the skill works is fundamentaly changed. Either its not triggered on hit, either it comes with a way to teleport back.
True facts. What about not bein stuck in walls and islands though u_ u If you could at least hit yourself to cunningly dodge yourself out of the way...
That's the risk you take, I suppose. At least until they figure out how to code the secret rooms such that they don't allow teleportation in.
Secret rooms should allow teleporting (not jumping or moving in mysterious ways though). But if you're afraid your dodge will leave you stranded just take Froda's Jump Discontinuity
Nah. Players shouldnt have to pick a skill or item to avoid being stuck forever. (Especially new players who have no clue)
Give an oh fuck I'm stuck somewhere and there are no monsters on screen peaceful or not and none anywhere are angry at me including brax but I'm stuck and want to get unstuck button? Or maybe just: It's a roguelike, you lost, get over it.
