So I've heard secret rooms have been introduced, and can be found by blasting walls with spells or bombs. That's all well and good, but is there some sort of indicator where a secret room might be? For example, in Binding of Isaac, secret rooms were likely to be found in empty spots on the map that had the most number of rooms adjoining to the tile it might be on. Can we blow our way into one from any direction, or does it have to be a specific spot? It might not sound important for someone playing, say, a promethean wizard build, but since I'm currently playing a melee build w/o tinkering, explosives are in limited supply.
I've seen them, but I have nothing to open them with, so ignore them. My newest character is all warrior skills. xD
I tried my luck randomly teleporting into a secret room, but either I was mistaken as to where it would be, or I was just not getting lucky with my teleports. Still yet to find one.
Had to use a Bolt of Mass Destruction to blast one open in order to get a quest-monster that spawned there.
I tried to break a wall with a fissure on it, and that worked and lead me to a small secret room. Nothing in it. So maybe the cracks on the wall are indicative.
