I like how the behaviour of the fishpeople evolved through the various builds of the game. At first they were wandering for the whole map, blissfully ignorant of the Human Menace. Unarmed and disorganized, thousands were slained by the colonies. Then they started to stick by the beach, knowing that these strange creatures were a threath, and when countless eggs were eaten they rised from the sea and charged and were promptly slaughtered. The humans kept slaughtering, butchering and harvesting their kind, treating their heroic and unarmed charges as a solution to famine. But now they learned.. To kill humans, you must think like a human.. Now they have guns and all shall pay! It really seems a coherent story. Was it intentional? Any chances that in the future their behaviour will change like this in the course of a single game? The next move of the Loyal Subjects of the Empire is crystal clear by the way: Technological Escalation. Let's see how their ilk reacts to artillery rounds!
Mmmmm, Fishpeople. It's what's fer dinner! I'm interested to see what we will be doing with the FP weapons. Can we research them? Do the Fishguns make good pets? Can those coral clubs be grown in offshore farms? Can the empire weaponize coral? Coral ammunition?
