Doing a playthrough on GRPD with Burglary, Steam version. Clear the first two floors, both have three shops each. Enter the third floor, level up soon thereafter and skill up into Five-Finger Discount. At this point I hadn't cleared more than 3-4 rooms on the third floor. Proceed to clear the entire floor, and no shops appear. Continuing on to floor 4, cleared the entire floor, and again no shops appear. Is this a related bug or just some kind of massive coincidence?
I've only ever found one mysterious portal on the first six floors in a single playthrough. and I have encountered these kinds of coincidences.
I was under the impression that there is at least one store on every floor with a normal size dungeon. Until this point I had never discovered a dungeon floor with more or less than three stores on any playthrough.
I've also encountered a dungeon where there were no stores on floors 3 or 4. There was also no monster zoo on floor 3. I did have the burglary tree, but was not up to the Five Finger Discount rank yet (I think I was just up to free lockpicks). I died about 4 rooms into floor 5, so I can't tell you if the shops reappeared on that floor or not.
If it is possible to have a randomly generated floor produce no stores on that level, it's possible to have two randomly generated floors produce no stores on either level; thus is the whim of the RNG. I swear, whever i play a mage character, Krong ALWAYS curses my equipment. Krong is magecist.
