Creating Emerald Rings ( and of course, some other rings too ) stacks them. Problem here is that enchanting any of the rings will enchant ALL of them but as you can only wear one, and it maintains it's integer as a stack, you sometimes get multiple bonuses. Also because it enchants all of them and they work in a stack when you use Archeology you get X(540) for Emerald Rings in EXP and because they are stacked up only one is consumed. While it makes for a great quicky game I imagine it was unintended.
Are you certain you can only equip one? Hold ALT and click the stack of items to remove one. And manually remove both rings, equip one, then ALT and remove another solo ring and equip it in the other slot by drag and dropping. If you are already doing this and it does not work, then I apologize.
That's actually the first thing I did. lol, maybe it's just me. Or maybe just those items. Alt, Cntrl, etc. the common keys for item stacking. It doesn't fix the "Super Enchanting" problem though which is really my issue; I mean it's convenient but it's SO cheaty!
Known bug, still lingering from a while back. Make sure to equip one before forging the other for now, unfortunately.
