I tried to delete an old character (not sure which patch, but probably from November 2011) and whenever I try to click delete the game automatically crashes. Has anyone else experienced this?
That's very strange. You can delete the character by going to documents/gaslamp games/dungeons of dredmor and deleting charactername.sav then loadsave.dat (unless you have multiple characters in which case just edit out the file path to that character from loadsave.dat with notepad)
I just tried something that worked. I loaded the character then instantly saved and quit. Then the game let me delete the file. It turns out it just can't handle deleting old saves.
