There is a Windows, Mac and possibly Linux version of this game. On the Steam store page it does not state that Linux is supported. When installing this game in Linux, Steam downloads an non-working Linux or Mac version of the game and assumes the game is Linux native. The error message you see when running the game through Steam: "An error occurred while updating Clockwork Empires (missing executable): ../Steam/steamapps/common/Clockwork Empires/Clockwork Empires.exe" There is an executable in the game folder called ClockworkEmpires-amd64, when running that the new error reads: "./ClockworkEmpires-amd64: error while loading shared libraries: libsteam_api.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" The second error, from my initial research, is from attempting to run a game in an unsupported OS/distro. The store page doesn't state that it runs on Linux, no Linux distro's should work when playing this game natively. The main problem is Linux users can now play Windows games via Steam Play & Proton. But Steam Play doesn't work on Linux Native games. I'm not sure how to get this resolved. Any ideas?
