    Hi,

I've been keeping an eye on this one and it's one of the most anticipated games for me and I can't wait to play it. Before I shell out nearly $30 can someone post how the game plays right now? Or even better are there any newer "Let's Play" videos on it? I found one from PC Gamer back in March but would like to see the newer additions.

    Thanks!

The current, complete status of the project can be found here:

Right now, it definitely leans towards "cabbage farming simulator." Testers are definitely having a good time, and are definitely playing it even though we aren't forcing them to.

If you have any doubt at all, wait until the Steam EA launch, or later if you prefer. We want you to be happy.

Yeah, I subscribe to your updates and read that but I lean towards the visual side. I liked what I saw with PC Gamer's vid preview just wondering if anyone had some updated video to show off the gameplay since that time. I know that Evan mentioned some placeholder things that weren't filled in so I was wondering how much more had been added since that preview.

Don't get me wrong, I would excel at a "cabbage farming simulator," (I live in the middle of farmland in NW Minnesota!) just wondered if someone had some recent gameplay to see what's been updated. :)

I would definitely expect some people to post newer gameplay after the 18th, by the way. The game changes a lot between each patch right now.

ok, thanks. I don't have a problem jumping on the early access bandwagon; I love to try new things out but for me, it's playing this along with Elite: Dangerous, Galactic Civilizations 3, and Endless Legend. Too many games all at once! ;)

How often are you planning to release patches? I really like the idea of Prison Architect's developers, where they release patch each month. It gives some order and that feeling of anticipation to the players :)

This is very much what we're going for. With smaller patches in between for fixes and such.
