Good MS Outlook-compatible calendar/task app for IOS

I have been using MS Outlook on the PC now for ages now, and I like it, and I haven't been crazy about much else that I've tried.

My question is, can anyone recommend a similar app for IOS that has similar functionality, and can easily and automatically synch with Outlook without any hitches? Mostly, I need this so that I can have my calendar and task lists available for making or checking appointments and so on, when I go out. Being able to synch my contact list would be a big plus as well, as integrating contact info with appointments is pretty useful.

I'm asking because the most similar app I've found so far has had terrible reviews.

Well... The topic is no longer relevant as I've received my phone and have had endless problems with it. Why the hell does anyone ever buy an apple phone, I'll never know.

    1. The sound quality on the phone is horrible. After a firmware update, the volume improved, but it still sounds like fuzzy. Verizon tech knew all about the issue, and said that this was a "KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE IPHONE 4". No wonder this was a free upgrade.
    2. Dropped calls are rampant -- I'm using the same provider as always -- Verizon. Yet I consistantly am dropping calls after 2 to 3 minutes or so. I almost NEVER had a dropped call on my previous dumb phone... or any cell phone for that matter. Yet I lost contact with Verizon tech support three times in a row and kept having to redial.
    3. The ringer stopped working after the firmware update (no joke).
    4. The touch sensitivity on some screens is crap. In a downloaded calendar app, everything is fine, but some of the Apple setup screens, contact screens, and a few others, are exercises in frustration. If I can get a keyboard to pop up, keyboards always seem to work fine. On the other hand, turning on options, checking options from multiple choices, etc. sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes I have to try 4 or 5 times to select a line to edit, etc.

Note that Synching WAS a problem, and Verizon was clueless as to what was happening, but the apple tech they connected me with was able to fix the issue after a couple of hours.

I'm now going to talk to Verizon to return the phone and reactivate my old phone. I still would like to get a smart phone, but not sure what to replace this piece of crap with.

If you purchase a phone, the one thing it had better do is reliably make phone calls that you can actually hear the person on the other end. I'll admit that I can actually hear the person on the other end after the firmware update. I just can't hear when I'm getting a call. +1 -1 --- I'm back to zero.
