Help keeps Crashing and is Getting Annoying

    My game keeps crashing and its starting to piss me off, Ive been funneling it for 4 hours now and I dont have anymore in me to keep ignoring it.

    We need more information in order to help you.

    Is it crashing at start-up?
    Just after character generation?
    When going down a particular staircase?
    When using a particular skill/spell/potion/etc?
    Upon loading a save game that was working fine before you saved?

    Each of those would have a different cause, and it's not likely anyone will read through the files of 8 different mods in search of a non-specific crash that could be in any of them. Tell us what the crashes have in common, and we may be able to figure it out.

    Sadly its Random, If not random im not sure what is on the level thats making me crash. All i can give you is that im on the 3rd Floor and it happened once on the 4th Floor so I assume its something added on those floors from one of the mod I use.

    There's a lot of things that could be. Rooms, items, a new monster, spells triggered by rooms or items or monsters. People updating their mods in between your saves.

    Heck, it could even be a problem with Steam. I recently had Steam go crazy and had to delete local content, restore, and then use -nukesteamcloud to make the game playable again. These things happen.

    Do you have RotDG installed? How about YHTNTEP?

    ID uses RotDG but didn't have the spiffy new code that tells that fact to the game until 1.2.6.2 was uploaded. So, if you don't have RotDG that could have been the problem. Not sure if any of the others require either expansion.

    Unless you can provide us with more info about the nature of the crash, there's not much of anything we can do to help you.

    You may need to reduce the number of mods you're running and use process of elimination to figure out where the problem is coming from.

    I have both, As well ill get you a crash log. If it doesnt output one ill decompile the executable and force it to.
