just purchased the game maximum resolution on launcher shows at 1360x768. I want to run at my default resolution of 2048 x1152 .
Seen some talk of using command line and the game directory has a few odin bat files.
have tried creating the following batch file which does rock all.

    Clockwork Empires.exe -start -x2048 -y1152 -fullscreen

sorry if this has been asked before but I found nothing with search nor are there any stickied threads that might help

I know this is digging up a really old post... but it's the first hit I've got on google looking for "clockwork empires custom resolutions", and it doesn't seem to work =( is there any way to use custom resolutions? I was hoping to playing windowed on my ultrawide monitor...

You can set a resolution in the config.xml file in your documents/gaslamp games/clockwork empires/ folder, it should be the lines ScreenX and ScreenY.

That said, we don't guarantee that things won't break or be super weird with any strange resolutions.

Found the folder, thanks, will check out =) and... HOLY COWS THERE'S A 320MB TXT FILE IN THERE O_O

doesn't work. when I start the game from the launcher, it resets back to the last configuration (1768x992 in this case) =(
even if I change to the desired setting and set the file to read-only, the last configuration is still restored =(
