I can't seem to get my mod into my game to test it.

I've got a mostly-completed mod on my hands, and I can't seem to get DoD to recognize it. I put all of the folders in the mods folder, both zipped and unzipped (at separate times) and got nothing. The XML validator found no problems with my zip, so everything's organized okay, I believe. DBs and mod.xml in the mod folder. Items and Sprites folders contain what they should.

    Any ideas?

...wild guess, does your Windows username contain a special character (or non english character)?
If so then... well, you can't see mods.

We really need to fix that.
If it's the case then meanwhile there ARE ways to change that username but I don't know if it's something you'd be willing to do.

It doesn't, though. It's just Gezora.

Huh. Okay, maybe if you upload a zip then people could look at it and figure out the problem :)

You should be able to use the forum attachment to do it if it's small enough.

    Alright. Here it is.

EDIT: Here's one with fewer errors.

I should also mention that I'm getting my steam workshop mods just fine.

Thanks for the help, guys, but I managed to figure it out. Should have expected it would be something silly. On the bright side, I found like 5 errors while scouring it.

I was putting it in my steamapps directory, not my document directory.

EDIT: Of course, now it's loading but not showing up when I start a new game. Always a rollercoaster ride. -sigh-

    Better grab another soda.

Mind you, if anyone has any clue why a mod would be accepted in the mod loader, then not show up at all, please, don't hesitate to tell me. I won't mind. Really.

Everything is called skillDB.xml.xml. Fix this.
