from http://www.topatoco.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=TO&Category_Code=GAS i got the girls' one because i like that shade of blue better.
Shhhhhwwwaaagggaaaahhhhh. I want to get the sticker pack and put the Bezerker Rage sticker in the back window of my truck, BUT I don't think it is designed to be stuck on the inside of a window. Not much point in putting a sticker on the outside to tough out the weather for just a season or two. I also like the "You need more mana..." and "I hate you so much", but I'd have to explain it so much it would just loose it's flavor. No one I know, out side the digital world, is familiar with DoD. Also, spending over $12 for a T-shirt to advertise someone else's stuff, is just... well.. not going to happen. Soo, sigh. I go swagless...
The way I see it, I already got DoD at a super cheap price of only $10, and I've put so much time into it (150 hours) that the devs deserve a little extra. It is kind of pricey but I like Diggles. I am not sure how I'd explain it to other people either though.
SkyMuffin, you look just like a person named SkyMuffin should look. That's a compliment. Also, explaining the swag is half the reason to buy it. It gives you an excuse to tell everyone about the awesomeness that is DoD.
Personally I'd love a Dredmor shirt that would say "YOUR INVENTORY IS FULL" in large, bold, capital letters on the front. Having a picture of a random cluttered, completely full backpack on the back of the tee would make it even better.
I've been very tempted to buy the Skol! shirt with the little lutefisk cube window. I live in a very Scandinavian neighborhood, so I think it would go over well.
I've gotten the "i hate you so much" shirt. A conversation with someone who's seen it for the first time goes something like this: Person: Why does that (bird, fish, thing) hate me? Me: It's a diggle. P: What's a diggle? M: This is a diggle. P: But what is it? M: It's from a game. P: Oh. *Commence normal conversation* So all in all, it makes for an interesting conversation starter. (As a side note, how do I do italics and such? HTML doesn't seem to work.)
