I'm doing a fair amount of crafting, but when I try to stack the items (health or mana potions, etc.) they often will not stack as they had in the past. I suspect this means my current saved game file has gotten corrupted or something as I guess I have to start all over again. (New to game, only have had it a few days.) While I'm here, just how do I install patch fixes for the game? Will this show up in my Steam account? Rather vague in how this is handled! Thanks
The stacking issue is fixed in Tuesday's patch. Steam will just install new patches for you, although it has a tendency to occasionally screw up and eat things. I expect I'll spend much of Tuesday telling people to validate their caches.

Just have the two stacks in the inventory, save&quit, reload without exiting the game, open your inventory and click "sort". Voilà.
