Hi, I have two distinct issues with the game. First: everytime i start the game, my "last choice" skills selection gets reseted to Swords-Axes-Maces-Staves-Archery-Thrown Weapons-Unarmed Combat (but if i play several games in a row without quitting the feature works). This default selection could be the first i ever choose but i'm not sure. Second: when i uncheck the DLC option on the difficulty page, i still get the DLC content (new skills, gnomes, runes). Thanks.
Pretty sure the DLC option only de/activates the last 5 floors of the game. The other new content is persistent.
I'm surprised that the new content isn't optional since it seems to make the game quite harder. Thanks for the answer.
That's because it's not that hard to get rid of the additional content if you know what you are doing, and if you don't know what you are doing then removing just some of the content will cause DoD to cast the "Crash to Desktop" spell on the first turn.
