Newer take (new mic): Older take:Go to 2:00 in the video! Seriously, let me, please! I don't even want money (though I am broke), just some publicity, so I might get voice acting work. Also, I love the game so damn much that it'd be amazing to know I was a part of it. The takes in both videos were completely on-the-spot in one take. I'd of course get a flawless one (I'd send you several to pick from) if you were to want to use me for this. :3 I'd also do any other voicing you might want, needless to say.
Wow, that was great.. Truthfully that was the first time I had even read/ heard the whole thing, even after hundreds of quick deaths. It would be great if it was fully narrated, and maybe some in-game events could be narrated as well, bastion style (maybe each time you go up a floor, some background story could be narrated, and some special rooms/ items/ bosses could be narrated on pick-up/ find/ defeat).. though perhaps not this much. I just really love in-game narration, and I feel it is the simplest (and funnest) way to add story and lore to a game.
How did you make this? I know how to stream, but when it's not League of Legends, I'd generally much rather make videos.
Anyone ever played Total Annihilation? Kind of sounds like that narration. EDIT: Which is awesome by the way.
Yeah, awesome narration it did have. As well as many other things. It's a shame that SupCom went in a different direction with the 2nd game.
I preferred the second game, though there WERE a lot of things in the first that I liked more - particularly the experimentals and the unit tiers. Second game has a more sensible economy system - that's mostly why I prefer it, lol.. Wow this got off topic - don't mind though, keeps the thread alive. xD If they let me do some VO work for them it'll get me some attention and I might get more Youtube audience, more VO work, etc.. so I really hope they do. Plus I just love this game and would be proud to be a part of it. xD More on-topic: GLORY TO KRONG! Krong is pleased! Stick of Death +2 +6 -3
Well, getting into the VO business is all about self-promotion, so you're halfway there. Sounds like you prefer character voices, so you should probably prepare for a move out to California if you really get into it.
