ive read various forums and searched youtube not I am still clueless.
ive downloaded a mod which has title and contains three folders

    ive tried dropping this into:
Macintosh HD/users/myname/applications/dungeons of dredmor. followed by show package contents and various combinations in that directory
    also
Macintosh HD/Library/application support. then i have created a DoD folder and tried pasting it in that.

ive also tried creating mods folders too... just a bunch of trial and error yet i cant seem to find any of the same directories that the windows tutorials suggest.

I am running DoD on OSX 10.7.3 and steam
    advice is appreciated cheers.

    thankyou kazeto,
    but my problem is
Macintosh HD/Library/application support folder does not contain a dungeons of dredmor folder. so it doesnt work, i fudged it which doesnt work. I am having the same problem with trying to install scripts for team fortress 2. I think its got something to do with steam because I cant find the correct folder for either game?

    It's a very simple solution!

You are looking under "Macintosh HD" in your finder window. Instead you want to look further down on the left side and find your (or the computer owner's) name. Click on your name and then follow that file path.

Thus it should be: YourName/Library/Application Support/Dungeons of Dredmor/Mods/(Modfilefoldername/Mod/XMLs)*

*Normally this last part is something the modder has put together themselves, so just drop the folder you got from them into the 'mods' folder you create.

    wohoo thanks, great success.
    for some reason
Machintosh HD/Users/name/Library is ghosted out so it made it hard to find.
