Maybe this is a bug, but I'm using a Macbook Pro (Penryn 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo) and Dungeons of Dredmore is consistently using over 85% CPU. I wouldn't expect a turn-based game with fairly simple graphics to use so much CPU. It's only a problem because the game drains the battery quickly, and this is a game I'd really like to be able to play on the go. If that's the way it has to be, then so be it, but it'd be really great if there was a way to greatly reduce the CPU usage. Thanks.
Yeah, it's high on desktops too. I'd guess there's a busywait somewhere in the game that could stand to have a "sleep(2 milliseconds)" call thrown in.
+1 this. Fullscreen is very jaggy and slow on my 2007 iMac: 2.4 GHz Duo 4 GB RAM ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO (256MB) On occasion it will speed up considerably, but as more appears on the screen to draw, it slows down a whole, whole bunch.
