Wasn't a killer character or anything so I wasn't crying about it, but I couldn't tell if this would count as a bug - it is technically a melee attack, so counters can happen, but I imagine they should take the opponent's melee range into account. Anyone else notice this happening on Thibault's Trompenant or anything else?
Clearly what happened was they bit you, then your mace knocked them out of range - and they took bits of you with them
Well, they were Eelys in a 1-square-wide moat with a wall behind them, and there was one square between me and them. They couldn't attack me first unless I walked forward one square, which I didn't. Edit: just realized you're thinking it was the knockback proc - sorry, that's not what I was referring to. I'm talking about the mace skill AOE that hits 2x3 in front of the player. The Eelys were in the 2nd row, in a moat.
I figured it could've been intentional or not but I had to ask. In any case it's good to know so I can be aware of it next time I consider it
