I have an idea for a build and would like to know if it will work before I spend the long hours it takes to find out myself. (Yes, I say this shamelessly) Magical Law / Blood Mage: Create Haematic Phylactery + Rune of Objection + Wright's Irrefutable Argument = free potion every turn? My only question as to whether this might not work is that the debuff acquired from BM's Create Phylactery ability does not have an actual name associated with it (at least it doesn't on the wiki). I haven't found any previous discussion about this potential combo either. Any thoughts?
The debuff from Create Haematic Phylactery does have a name (Haematic Drain, to be precise), but that's not the reason the combo doesn't work as you're intending. Rather, the combo doesn't work because Haematic Drain is specifically immune to uncursing (it's considered a positive status effect in the game files), exactly so that easy sources of uncursing/cursemoving can't be abused like this. You can still use CHP + Wright's to quickly manufacture Phylacteries, but the only way out of Haematic Drain is to consume them.
