"Good news, Governor! I have found a deposit of copper!"
"Thank heavens! This will turn the tide in our battle against the perfidious NeoBelgians! And at last we'll be able to build that still. Where is it?"
"I'm in the pub, Your Eminence. I ran home as quickly as I could to give you the news!"
"Yes, but what is the location of the copper ore?"
    "I'm in the pub."
    "Where. Is. The. Copper."
"Can't rightly say, sir, but if you go over every inch of the map you'll find where I marked it. Maybe."

...perhaps the "zoom to location" associated with a mineralogy report would be more useful if it zoomed to the minerals and not to the naturalist? It's amazing how much ground they can cover in the time between when the report appears and when I get a chance to look at it, and pausing every time one shows up is annoying.

Also, it would be nifty if identified deposits showed an icon on screen instead of needing to mouseover to see what they are. Perhaps also a ? for the unidentified ones to make them a bit more distinct from normal stone.

Also also, a "ping all copper (etc.) deposits on minimap" option would be handy.

Also also also: when my people level terrain, this sometimes results in objects floating in air or getting buried. (Particularly a problem when I'd level ground so I could build a big mine there, and inadvertently cover up the ore icon!) Is it possible to tweak the levelling command so that objects stay at ground level? Though maybe some things should be buried...
