Just started a new game with Blood Magic as a skillpick, also picked up a Crude Dagger early on. However, they are identical in statistics. From a balance perspective this is probably fine, but from an aesthetic perspective, I'd like my neato sacrificial dagger that has tasted the blood of a thousand virginal diggles (or whatever. Eww. Actually ignore that bit) to be a bit better than a crude breadknife I found on the dungeon floor. I'm not sure what to suggest without unbalancing it too much, but maybe another point of slashing damage on the sacrificial dagger, or a couple of points of enemy dodge reduction, or a proc to inflict bleeding (low chance) and a hint of such in the description. Alternatively, if it's already just fine where it is then perhaps the Crude Dagger needs a slight disadvantage, perhaps a -1 or -2 to EDR?
Sacrificial dagger used to give a +1 buff to magic power, I'm not entirely sure where that went? It'd definitely help diversify them.
I believe they're also identical to the Shiv you start off with. So many worthless daggers, too little time to get better ones...
