Mod Conversions for the Latest Patch

  1. While waiting for the latest patch to come out, I snorted a huge line of ADHD and went off on a whirlwind tour of other games. By the time I was done, I was reading up on those other games and had forgotten about Dredmor. There are still several mods in my head that I'd really like to put to paper, however, so I'm back!

    I know that .10 gives us a bunch of new tools and toys that I'm sure will be a blast, but did it significantly change the prior syntax? I.E., does anything need to be changed about a .9 mod to make it work with .10?

    Nope. Nicholas is a freak about backwards compatibility (thank Krong), so all of the old syntax still works. :)

    There's nothing that needs to be changed per se (because nothing is getting deprecated), but in most cases you want to make some minor adjustments to benefit from the newest code.

    lightningarc/lightningarc_ had its underscore removed so it acts like every other animation.
