Mod don't show up in mod loader

Hello everybody!

Im new to modding and trying to get into it. I made a simpel mod with just one item in it to actualy try to see that the mod shows up in the game. I have used the mod validator to test it and i get the "No errors! Congratulations!" messege. But when i start my game and i look in the mod loader i can't see the mod. What could the reason to this be? I have the mod in the C:\Users\Tim\Documents\Gaslamp Games\mods\mod_name folder.

I have attached the mod to the post so people can download it and test it and see if someone can be so kind to help me and get it working

Where are you putting them? It should be /users/documents/gaslamp games/mods/YourMod'sName/

 

My mod is located C:\Users\Tim\Documents\Gaslamp Games\mods\mod_name

When i go into users i don't have a documents folder. I have to go into my Tim folder to find Documents

 

That's the right spot. Inside mod_name, do you have a mod folder, and inside that a mod.xml file?

 

Yes inside the mod_name folder i have a folder called mod and in it there is a file called mod.xml

C:\Users\Tim\Documents\Gaslamp Games\mods\Omnomnom\mod
