Each time I attempt to create a save file by using the "save and quit" button nothing happens. My game just erases as if I did nothing. I reinstalled the game but it didn't solve the problem at all. I run on windows XP 32 bits with the Realm of the Diggle Gods and You Have to Name the Expansion Pack expansions. I saw there was a hotfix on a pinned thread but I'm not sure about it since the post is already more than a week old and I don't know how to install it anyway. I would be glad if someone could show me how to solve that annoying issue. Thanks in advance
At this point, extract http://patches.gaslampgames.com/dredmor/dredmor_hotfix_test11b.zip to your game folder, overwriting it. That should fix your issue.
Well I extracted the content of the zipped file you gave to me and replaced the old files with the new ones using winrar... but now the game simply doesn't work at all. It crashes right after I start it with the launcher. I really don't know what to do about that. =/
