Necromancer with permanent +health regen

I have a save where my character has somehow acquired a base Health Regen of +11, even when I take off equipment. This character has been stacking Mark of Chthon and Pact of Fleeting Life multiple times (perhaps as many as 6x Mark and 4xPact? I'm not sure whether stacking Pact does anything, but I sure have cast it a bunch of times in a row.). I sometimes manually cancel the Marks, or manually cancel *some* of the Marks, and at least once I've used a Potion of Purity (which may have removed some of the health-regen-debuffs at "bad" times?).

I can't seem to reproduce this (at least, I can't get this character's Health Regen any higher than +11). Would the save for this be helpful? Where are saves located on Mac OS X? (I'm very familiar with the Unix directory hierarchies, I just need to know which directory I should be looking in).

This sounds a bit like the "permanent dire empowerment" bug, but I thought that was fixed.

OSX saves are at ~/Library/Application Support/Dungeons of Dredmor. Interestingly, it looks like the screenshots associated with each save file are not deleted when the savefile itself is...

Okay, this seems to happen whenever I cast more than 9 or 10 Deathly Hexes in a row. Presumably this is from the Minor Blood Debts not working correctly.

Maybe the devs used a signed short for the number of debuffs to apply? Then you'd be getting a negative modifier to damage taken every turn, i.e. healing.

To clarify, once all of the debuffs have worn off, my "HP regen" stat is higher than it originally was. It's not negative damage every turn, it's that my HP Regen is permanently +25 or so, meaning I always regain 1 HP every turn.

Sounds the same as the supposedly fixed problem with debuffs 'wearing off' incorrectly when leveling up. For example, if you have a lot of Curse of Mind debuffs from using Nightmare Curse you can end up with ridiculous amounts of magic power after leveling up. I thought this was fixed in 1.05 though...
