I think this is pretty self-explanatory. Currently nimbleness is pretty UP compared to the other archetype-exclusive stats, burliness and sagacity. How to make nimbleness more appealing: make cooldown skills refresh in fewer turns with higher nimbleness, based on a formula set up on a case-by-case basis for each skill, similar to the individual savvy-based mana costs, with a minimum number of turns required to cool down in place as well. Any thoughts?
1 = 1 0.33 0.16 1 = 0.5 0.33 0.16 0.75 1 = 2 0.5 1 = 1 0.5 0.16 1 = 0.5 0.75 1 = 0.5 0.16 If anything it seems like needs a boost, although that'd be a bit unfair on Rogues. While I'm here... every level you gain: If it's a Warrior level you get a bonus of: If it's a Rogue level you get a bonus of If it's a Wizard level you get a bonus of:
Yes, nimbleness boosts a lot of things, but critical takes priority over pretty much ALL of them, and any skill that offers an accuracy boost tends to be more than enough to suit your accuracy needs. But if it turns out nimbleness is already balanced, that's fine by me.
J-Factor's ideas about how combat calculations should be done are pretty well liked. IF those were ever implemented, Nimbleness would become a superstat for non-magic combat of any kind (as per usual with anything even remotely kissed by the inflence of D&D). Assuming it's even possible or likely for such a change this late in the game.
