Someone else asked me about this, and apparently (at least as he pointed out, and according to Dredmorpedia), I gave him the wrong answer. According to Dredmorpedia, the damage from the Brimstone cloud partly scales to magic power. HOWEVER, I was under the (possibly false) impression that damage from thrown items (other than the initial impact) was static. Is it true that the cloud damage scales to magic power?
HTML: <effect type="damage" toxic="4" toxicF="0.15" asphyxiative="4" asphyxiativeF="0.15" acidic="1" conflagratory="1" affectscaster="1" /> But you are right about the impact, mostly. It does scale, but all throwing weapon impact damage scales to is . PS: "toxicF" and "asphyxiativeF" are the scaling terms. Because no explicit stat is given, it uses the default scaling to .
yes tested this. my guy has some +magic power and also alchemy gives a heap towards it. +25 MP is showing some seriously deadly brimstones.
