Modding in some further skills that Paralyze people, I noticed that Paralyze always lasts 1 turn less than the number you put in the counter -- right down to [Effect type="paralyze" turns="1"] doing absolutely nothing. That's all.
I thought paralyzing for 1 turn prevented the monster from attacking on that turn. This is why Psychokinetic Shove has a 1 turn paralyze - even when the monsters resist the knockback they still can't fight back.
