Whenever I enter my PD it either CTD or just hangs... This is really a *Huge* bummer. I applied Hotfix 10 and deleted the exp2 and 3 folders(I only have the 'Diggle Gods' exp.), but it still crashes. Steam version on Win7, 64-bit. It really makes the game unplayable. Is someone working on this? Please say yes! This is *exactly* the type of game I've been searching for, but I am now at a standstill. I would pay $40 for this game if it worked correctly. Please, is someone fixing this? Thanks very much.
You're behind on the patches; Patch 1.1.2 should solve your problems. If it still hasn't, file a bug report.
Thanks, you're right, I checked and I have 1.1.1. I thought that Steam is supposed to automatically update patches for anything I own thru them. Evidently they didn't for this one. Am I missing something? Is there a way in Steam I can check and see how to get this patch. On the Gaslight site they have a patch page, but when I click on it it just keeps returning me to the same page. TIA for any help you can give me so I can get back to the game. I really appreciate it.
I went to Steam and somehow 'forced' an update to 1.1.2... Still crashed on my old game save (it actually was worse - it crashed every time I just dragged the cursor over the PD icon - B4 I had to click on it). So, I started a brand new game with a new name and so far *No* crashes. The PD works fine. I went up and down some stairs (heard that could be a problem, too). Still works perfectly. Fingers crossed.
