I was just wondering if the mobs from the quests show up on the floor that you got them from, or if the quest mobs can show up on lower levels. The quests have a (floor 1) in the quest log, but I'm not sure if it's just telling me what floor the quest is from. I cleared floor 1 and found 2 quest statues side by side in the last 2 rooms, so I'm kinda hesitant to move onto floor 2 without completing these quests.
As far as I can tell it's all on the floor you get them from. So, it may require a lot of backtracking and looking around if you got the quests after you mostly cleared the floor.
Yeah, I've cleared out floors, and found the quest statue right at the end. I then had to re-explore the whole level. It's a little annoying.
