So I couldn't find this on the wiki. I want to rebalance an already existing ability in the vanilla game. (like make them scale where they currently don't) If I copy a spell from the spellDB that is used in an existing skill tree, and copy it into my mod spellDB altering how it works, will the altered one replace an existing one in the default skills?
Edit. So I made the mod, and it doesn't work. Other than overwriting the currently existing files, is there no way to replace an individual skill/spell in the vanilla game with the mod?
You could make a copy of the skill-tree and edit the copied skill, if you're uncomfortable with editing core files It will look silly in skill select of course, as you'd be able to pick both
That is fine Gorbax, probably a decent Idea. I might put it up as a mod on steam if I like how it turns out.
