Granted, this happened to me frequently before the hotfix (have not been playing for a bit because of this). It's very frustrating because a) I can't pinpoint what specifically I am doing when the game crashes (not sure that it's consistent). This time I was deep into level 2, doing nothing unusual other than fighting, and nothing unusual on the screen. I don't know if this has to do with the dlc or the base game.
CTD today thanks to Steam's "beta participation," I think. Level 2. Last action was to read a bookshelf, and receive the "Bony Wand" recipe. Since when did the Bony Wand require a recipe? Mac OS 10.7.2; DoD:RotDG 1.0.9
