Does anyone know whether I have to be lucky enough to stumble upon one, or if I can craft one from scratch? I'm using the smithing and tinkering skills and really want to build up from basic to vibrating quadruple razor sword, but can't find a crafting recipe for a single sword, only double Loving the new additions in the latest patch!
The Razor Sword is not craftable, you need to find them laying around. Also, to craft the Double you can use either the Razor Sword or the Razor Sword For Her. (Right? The second fact may be wrong...)
Ahhh, I guess I'll have to scour the levels for 4 of them in total then lol, oh well, I guess I'll craft something else in the meantime. And yes, you can use the Razor Sword For Her to craft a Double, those crafting recipies I did see in the list, either Razor/Razor, Razor/RFH or RFH/RFH. Thanks for the response though
I can create a mod to add it as craftable if you want, it is quite simple but I do not know which item I should use to add it to the craftDB... any idea? I can´t thing a good pair of items to craft it... Probably a sword and something else... When I tried to craft it, I had the same problem. It is not a super awesome weapon mid game/end game but it may be very useful at low levels (Double and Quadruple). It is a shame that you cant create the Razor Sword since it is very dificult to find at least two for a Double... and it is at the same level of some Iron/Steel weapons,. I think it can be a useful mod.
That would be awesome if you could. I guess the recipe could be something like a steel/iron/rusty iron sword etc and maybe create something like a sharpening stone from an ingot of *insert metal here* and a diamond or something like that. Just a thought If you did create a mod for it, would you put anything else in it like other non-craftable items/weapons? Could be interesting to come up with new recipies for various items that aren't currently craftable in the vanilla game/dlc packs
I will give it a try. Basically I need to check the "Advanced Craft'n'Smelt" mod to know which items are not included there as craftables (to avoid doing the same crafting recipes as him) and then I need to think of the items needed to create them. It shouldnt be too complicated.
Ok, well don't worry about it too much if it's going to be a lot of trouble double checking, I don't want to cause someone to spend hours of their time on it. I did manage to find 1 razor sword after a further 3 1/2 hours of grinding level 3 lol, but if you manage it, I would be very grateful
Time is the greatest tyrant but I will try to look at it when I have time to spare (also, check the Advanced Craft'n'Smelt mod. It is on Steam and in the released mod section of this forum. It is very good and give a lot of new recipes/craftable things. )
