If you play Bankster, you start with three of these. There are no default recipes for this reagent, and it only sells for a few zorks. Are there secret recipes for it?
There's a Smithing Crust that grants 3 to a weapon., and it's only level 2. It's not even secret. You need to search better.
There are indeed secret recipes. I've only found one so far but it's quite powerful. A smithing crust for weapons that has a midas effect on hit. I haven't used it yet, but I imagine the effect is similar to carrying a whill. Only it doesn't take up an equipment slot...
