Considering there are some CTDs and the way save games are handled with perma-death mode, can we get a regular auto-save interval every 15 or 30 minutes? Or even just when you change levels?
Every level gain, every floor change, every door opened etc.. Make the saves go into categories of each character and if the character dies the entire save deletes itself (If Permadeath is enabled). There's one flaw with autosaves though, if a player walks into a zoo he/she might reload the autosave by killing the process an there for cheating him/her way through the floors.
