What is it supposed to do currently? Why should it be brittle? What was the original intention? What if it gave buffs that made users more resistant to missile and target spells, and had one attack rather than being brittle? Am I missing the point of what tortoise maneuver was actually for here? Simply recovering health out of battle?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Shield Mastery has ever been really touched. Agreed the skill is lackluster. It could use a general revamp though.
David did add my changes from ECSR to both Shield Mastery and Armor Mastery: Not much, but it has been touched.
Kazeto: I switched skills on you mid-quote. The first 'final level' is for Armor, the second 'final level' is for Shields. On a side note, for some reason, of all of the changes, it looks like David only increased the first level of Shield Bearer to 8 (not 10 as my changelog above says) Block.
Perhaps they want to test it first to see if it's not overpowered. I don't want to offend you by saying that, but it is true that you had quite a noticeable problem with balancing your mods so that they wouldn't be stronger than they should be, so I can see why they would be wary there.
