It would be cool if developers let fans to translate the game. For example Twitter uses crowdsourcing to translate pages into users native languages. There should be free online services for collaborative transalation.
There are a lot of services, i.e. notabenoid.com is widely used for subtitles. We could take the .xml files (from /game folder) and translate 'em. With crowd power. EDIT: looks like a translation requires a font update, a partial graphics update and conflicts with all the saves. Well, damn. I'm a working translator, btw. Native Russian. So if Gaslamp would decide to release the game in other countries... ;-)
