If you sell an item with bad enchantments Brax can actually take money from you. If an items sell value is negative, it should just sell for 1 gold.
I think it's amusing and should be left as is. "That piece of crap? You'd have to pay ME to take it off you!"
I've gotta side with Daynab here. It's not like money becomes an issue later on; think of it as a disposal fee.
Wow! I have never seen an item sell for negative gold. Nor have I ever had Brax offer me so little. What items does he do this with?
If an item has more net negative enchantments than positive. Doesn't happen very often, and the amount of money he takes isn't a lot.
I haven't seen the negative money thing, but what I HAVE seen is Brax refuse to buy an item. I'm wondering if maybe the item I tried to sell wasn't bad enough...
