So, yeah, I'm going to try out a counter build (roughly, counter is both a defensive and offensive skill, so having shit tonnes of it should mean nothing can harm you and you'll tear through enemies). I was wondering, therefore, if unarmed works with dual wield and if shields work with dual wield. Does anyone have any idea? I'm probably going to fill out the dual wield tree anyway (<3 them counter bonuses) but I'd just like to know this before I do.
Iv haven't tried it but reading through I heard you can equip 2 shields anyway (without needing dual wield? Not sure)
You can equip 2 shields without dual wield, though i'm wondering if the dual yield skills work with unarmed attacks. Anyone knows? Does dual yield skills affect unarmed attacks?
The double attack thing wont, I don't think, because you don't actually have 2 weapons to make a double attack, but all the other stat buffs and stuff would I imagine.
I also noticed that I could wield 2 staff class weapons, but no idea how that would work, comsidering that one of the staff skills mentions how you use a twohanded grip.
I think unarmed should automatically count as having two weapons. I mean, you have two fists, right? But, yeah, I'm just wondering about the synergy between dual wield and unarmed / dual wielding shields. Mainly because I want to try to make an unarmed counter build and dualwielding is good for base counter and shields (as items) give LOTS of counter.
Actually you fight with your feet and.. I don't think you can use both of them at the same time without falling on your ass XD Sure Roundhouse kicks are cool but you'd soon find your hips hurting lol I dunno if the Dual attack proc does make your unarmed attacks strike twice, something worth testing.
