So I'm currently working on making loads of Skyrim armour sprites, and I need flavourtext. Really. It's way too hard to write flavortext for over 75 items. ---- I need: Dragonplate Gloves/Shield/Boots/Legs - General theme is "mass dragon genocide" and "this isn't dragonplate at all" Dwarven Helmet/Gloves/Shield/Boots/Legs - General theme is "protection against blasts" and "working in mines" Iron Gloves/Shield/Boots - General theme is "questionable source of the fur in the armour" and "this isn't iron at all" Fur Gloves/Boots/Legs - General theme is "lack of ethics" and "sticking it to PETA" I hope some creative mind reads this and posts some ideas. Also, I'm planning on making all these armour types: Fur, Iron, Elven, Forsworn, Falmer, Stormcloak, Dwarven, Plate, Shrouded, Glass, Nightingale, Dragonscale, Dragonplate and Daedric. So if you have any ideas about flavortext or general flavor text themes, PLEASE post them!
For glass gauntlets: "Even wearing these doesn't turn your complete inability to throw a punch into a virtue."
Glass Helm. For those moments you want to pretend your head is a bottle of Mana. And you are sure to have your head in a bottle of something if you think glass is a good ablative armor. Comes with complementary tweezers so you can more easily remove shattered bits of glass from your skull. I never got the ideology behind glass armor in any game... For the Dwarven stuff, you could have something similar to this: "You know it is called Dwarven Armor for a reason, don't you? It is made of Dwarves. By Dragons. As retaliation for Dragonplate armor. Just wanted you to know. That explains the stench too." For Iron: "It appears to be some shiny metal. Until you touch it and realize it was likely organic before the putrification set it in place."
The Glass armour set has all flavor texts right now. The current description for the helm is "Maybe you wouldn't be so scared to put this on if it was called Malachite instead of glass. The material's strength isn't different, tho. Ignorance is a bliss.". I changed the Dwarven Armour flavortext to yours, because mine was pretty boring. Also, I changed the "Fur Helmet"'s text to your Iron flavortext, because I think it fits it better.
Something fur-based: "The beneficial protein within having been consumed, wearing the wrapping is just sensible wastage minimisation."
