I usually use the larger interface when I play DoD, but today I turned it off for a second to fiddle with my abilities. I noticed that my framerate appeared to get slightly better-- i'd estimate 5-10 fps more. It felt "smoother" than it was with the larger interface on. When I turned the larger interface back on, my framerate dropped again. It's not a big hindrance, but it is kind of noticeable and might point to something with the way resources are used. Is there a way I can track my FPS in game? I'd like to get a more accurate read on this.
