Small screen and scaling

When I launch DoD on my 1366x768 screen I get wierd results. I see only 2 tiles below my character, then there's his face. I see much more tiles to the north. Very frustrating if you open room full of monsters from north: you basically see and can attack only one. So...

    1) Can I somehow change default camera position?

    2) More effective would be turning off scaling. As I understand all sprites are double-sized and anti-aliased. I remember (though not clear) that long time ago on another PC I had no scaling and everything was smaller. Would be very nice to find a way to turn it off.

  2. I only get the option for 1080, and if I put that windowed its slightly too big as my explorer and windows xp bar cover the game so Im forced to run it full screen lol.. itd be good to be able to have an adjustable size windowed mode possibly?

The resolution is fine. Visible area is not fine.

Look at random screen with my resolution. See how small is area south of character and how big is area to the north. Why? WHY.

This is somewhat a problem with any resolution because you always get less towards the bottom than the top. It makes range targetting problematic. There's no way to change the position that I know of.

Really? The game is year old, it is constantly patched and there's an addon, and yet you can't see three steps down on most screen resolutions? Really?

That thing says that almost 40% of users have 1024x768 or 1366x768 screen. And 15% have 1280x800 which isn't mucj better. More than half of internet users have the same problem. I'm amazed.

It's not as bad if the resolution is higher, but it is a problem. You see nearly 3 tiles, on 1600 x 900 I see three and a half.

I'll ask if there's any plans to change it.
