Smithing level 7...

I just maxed out smithing for the first time. It is a great skill. anyone that knocks it really er.... doesnt like to make stuff.

But i can't make level 7 gear.

is this clockwork build only stuff? that would be REALLY annoying.

 

Someone should correct me if I'm wrong (but I don't think I am) -- I believe all of the level 7 smithing recipes are hidden, and must be discovered. There are 3 ways I can think of to discover new recipes --
1. Randomly From bookcases
2. Specific skills given automatically with certain skill choices
3. Randomly from enemy corpses with Paranormal Investigator's "Alien Autopsy" skill

 

well i have max smith and i found the recipe i wanted and i cant make it because max smithing stops at 6th level

 

You'll need something to boost your smithing an extra point -- without CK, I think you'd need a mod that boosts it there's a couple at least that can do that.

 

The Kronghammer also gives +1 Smithing, if you can get your hands on it.

 

oh jeez where do i get that hammer?

 

It's very rare, I think it can only be found in shops. It's quite powerful if you can get it, though.

 

I found it twice now. i guess it wasnt that rare or i duno. i can make some cool stuff now thanks
