Some more random questions.

    1. I had read that maxing out block would prevent corruption from non-magic attacks such as Magic Golems and such. I found out the hard way that this isn't the case, and received a few shots of corruption from Blobs of Corruption. Is that because corruption attacks have a chance to go through regardless of if the hit actually lands or not, or is it still possible to prevent the corruption by increasing the resists against that particular enemy so that they can't do any damage at all?

    2. Some enemies take more damage from Wands of Midas than others, and I can't see why. For example most enemies take only 10 damage, but some (like Magic Golems) take 15 damage. According to the wikis these enemies have no transmutative resist properties but I suppose that could just be incorrect... unless there's some other factor that I'm unaware of?

    I think you can still be corrupted irregardless of whether you take damage or not ( someone correct me if I'm wrong here.)

    Magic Resistance, however, will prevent corruption. Your best bet is just to stay out of melee range of such monsters.
