Picked up an embossed serpentine platemail artifact off the floor with shift+left click when I had a non-artifact one in my inventory already, and it stacked them and turned it into a non-artifact. Luckily I'd just gotten a different amazing one from an Uberchest so I'm not sore about it, which is why I had the non-magic one in my inventory. In the save I've already unstacked them because I was trying to check if one of them would still be the artifact post stack. You can re-stack them though, which seems unusual. I'm playing on steam, no RotDG on the latest patch distributed through it. I've uploaded the save I made right after and the autosave in case that helps. I've had this same issue with Chainaxes in the past. Haven't found or crafted any since the recent patch, so I don't know if it's been fixed already or not.
